Talking about technology-assisted instruction...

I spend much of my time as an academic steeped in the world of technology-assisted instruction and how it can provide the best possible education for our students. We hear loud and clear from our
students that they want technology to support and enhance their instructional experience, so that they can spend valuable class time on discussion or group work.

I'm reaching out to my colleagues who are interested in further discussing these issues. If you're interested, drop me an email at mike.carbonaro(at)

Also, during discussion of the report of the Online Visioning Committee at the last GFC meeting, colleague Jeremy Richards asked for sources cited in the report. Here is the bibliography.
