The time has come…
…for the U of A to take back the record. The dodgeball record, that is: this Friday, Feb. 3, 2012, the U of A will attempt to reclaim its rightful title to the World's Largest Dodgeball Game.
Once again, the Students’ Union is leading the way in organizing the attempt, and by any measure it is an audacious goal worthy of our support. The game is open to all
U of A students, staff and alumni; I can tell you from first hand experience (twice!) that it’s great fun.
I encourage everyone to get involved and participate if you can. Or come out and cheer on the Green and Gold teams. It has been great to see so many staff and alumni come out to support this student-led event for the last two years. Registration opens at 10 a.m., and the game gets underway at noon in the Butterdome. For more information, you can go to www.breaktherecord.ca or check out the Facebook page the SU has created.
